- 1 medium ripe banana
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

LAYER THE BLENDER: Add ingredients to your blender in this order for best blending: liquid (almond milk) first, then Greek yogurt and honey, followed by the banana (break it into chunks), and frozen strawberries on top. Putting liquids at the bottom helps create a vortex that pulls the frozen fruit down.

BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH: Start blending on low speed for 10 seconds to break up the frozen fruit, then increase to high speed. Blend for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy with no chunks of fruit visible. If the blender struggles, stop and use a tamper or spatula to push ingredients toward the blades, then blend again. Add an extra splash of almond milk if needed to reach desired consistency.

SERVE IMMEDIATELY: Pour into two glasses and serve right away while cold and thick. Smoothies begin to separate and lose their thick texture if they sit too long. For a thicker, more milkshake-like consistency, use more frozen fruit. For a thinner, more drinkable smoothie, add more almond milk.
